Technology in healthcare is evolving, intertwining paramedical education and research in collaboration with the field. Technologies supporting care processes take center stage in generating and disseminating knowledge for the advancement of paramedical professions. The client perspective remains the primary focus in the development, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare technology.
Our research focuses on understanding the value of care for whom and in what context: not only for the patient/client and healthcare professionals but also for other involved parties such as caregivers, researchers, policymakers, and insurers.
Adhering to the principles of Value-Based Health Care (VBHC), we collaborate within an interprofessional learning community to generate new knowledge, insights, and healthcare innovations. Through engaging education and practice-based research, we prepare students for the future of healthcare. This is achieved through compelling research lines and projects.
