Zuyderland Medical Centre is one of the Dutch hospitals affiliated with the Collaborative Top Clinical Hospitals (STZ).

As a teaching hospital, we place great importance on the transfer of knowledge. We learn from one another and strive to combine the best of both worlds. We invest in further specialisation and modern medical equipment, and we are eager to lead in healthcare innovations. However, innovation is not something you achieve alone; it is done in collaboration with everyone who can contribute to delivering the best care. We continuously strive to develop and successfully implement new ideas, tools, techniques, services, and processes that can be applied in healthcare and service provision. By being innovative, we aim to optimise the care for our patients. Additionally, medical specialists and other professionals are interested in innovations, which encourages the influx of highly qualified specialists.

Healthcare staff, management, and support departments can turn to the Innovation Lab. Moreover, the Innovation Lab actively shares experiences and outcomes from previous innovation projects. One person’s experience can be an eye-opener for another. Together, we are working towards the healthcare of tomorrow!
